I did charity work there by going to Lourdes and looking after an elderly disabled man called Terrance who said he had the best time there. I finally took A Level dance after being in a variety of shows and got AA (double distinction) at A Level. Then going to York st John University to study dance. After having a few complications there I decided to move home and transfer to Leeds University which then gave me the opportunity to join Wakefield Wildcat Dolls

You can always reach your dreams, just need to work hard.

Hanna Clarke –a wildcat doll- suggested I auditioned and after getting in it was the best decision I’ve made. Sarah Elston who is the event manager had already been doing ring girling with the dolls for a while and my first was a cage fight in Doncaster dome for dominicgibbs. I absolutely loved it and when she then asked to do David Coldwell fights I was in my element. I have always been brought up with rugby until my friend began boxing and cage fighting and I’ve really got into it. Sometimes I get too involved and you can hear me shouting at the edge on the ring!! It is something I really love but my aim is to be a teacher. I did a year as a TA at north Featherstone junior and infants and looked after a boy who was a selective mute. He did begin to make noises with me and the satisfaction of changing/helping someone’s life really inspired me to become a teacher. I have such a supportive family and the best friends and I know I have been extremely lucky with everything that has happened and with what I’ve got even thought I’ve had a struggle with things along the way therefore I would love to teach in the community to help under privileged children have a safe haven and some direction in life. You can always reach your dreams, just need to work hard.
