LPC is a place where information is being constantly thrown at you, such as anything to do with learning, events, meetings, etc etc. If you’re like me, who has the memory span of a goldfish, I would suggest using apps like Todoist (Or any to-do app for that matter), Google Keep (Free, interactive sticky notes that sync across all your devices) or Evernote (Like Google Keep but with more stuff). Or, if you like physical notes, that can work great too, by using a homework diary, or a calendar whiteboard on your room for all of your beautiful deadlines.

Also on the topic of remembering, if you struggle with your passwords, as LPC makes you use accounts for everything, Lastpass, a password managing app, recently became free

DO THINGS

It’s no secret the Cantine gets very crowded during Lunch and Breakfast, as everyone is leaving from class and is very hungry. If you’re not a fan of wasting time in queues, stick around the courtyard for 10-15 minutes after the end of class, ensuring a practically empty queue. (However, they might run out of food - can’t promise anything!)

Sitting down and working on your EE or ToK or whatever can be especially difficult if you constantly have pings from messenger or whatsapp in the background. While it is possible to disable this with programs like ColdTurkey or FocusMe, a much easier thing to do is to split your profiles. For example, having two Chrome icons - one with your LPC account logged in, meaning getting into Haiku a lot easier, and another with your own personal information, with all of your facebook and twitter logged into. I will also post a tutorial on how to do this by the time this edition is out.

If you also own a Mac, or are running Windows 10, you can create different desktops for studying and procrastinating,
