Miami Fashion Week (MIAFW) is dedicated to cultivating the fashion industry in Miami and positioning the city as a high-quality fashion hub. We are proud to be the first fashion week solely dedicated to showcasing Resort Cruise Collections while simultaneously focusing on echoing the message to a broader audience through the production of quality content. MIAFW takes advantage of the strong and diverse connection Miami has built between Latin America and the United States.
MIAFW also encourages the furthering of the essence of Miami's ever-growing population of artists and designers.
MIAFW hit the town this May and BOSSY! was on hand getting a look at the best in resort and cruise wear. Of course we had to show you our favorite designers and looks from MIAFW 2018.
Originally from Tepehuaje de Morelos, Jalisco, Benito Santos studied medicine at the University of Guadalajara, as well as fashion design at the Lanspiac Institute in Guadalajara. He made his debut in 2008 as a fashion designer. As being a Jalisco native, he is one of the great favorites of women who love ultra feminine and glamorous evening dresses. Using cutting techniques and especially the hand embroidery done in each of their dresses, he uses an exquisite and spectacular design. He has performed at the most important fashion events in Mexico and Latin America such as: Intermoda, Minerva Fashion, Google + Fashion, CDMX Fashion Week, El Paso, New York, Los Angeles and Vancouver, Helsinki, among others. This year Benito Santos celebrates 10 years of fashion and the brand is ready to celebrate.
