NuRa: Basically just moving the womb sort of of like the dances you would see Rihanna or Beyonce doing. It’s just a sort of ritual to prepare your womb for this monthly cleansing. Try one or two of the things maybe the juicing is fine but you want to make sure you had chocolate. Maybe you didn’t like the womb dancing but you may want to try womb teas or womb saunas. This is why it's called my empowerment my way. This is why it’s called my empowerment my way. You can find out what works for you to make your cycle a more enjoyable experience.

Shevvy Malibu: So you’ve used this term earlier so I have to ask, what is a yoni? Where does the word come from, what does it mean?

NuRa: Okay yoni is sanskrit which is an ancient Indian text and it literally means not just the vagina but all of the female reproductive system. So the vagina, the womb space, your fallopian tubes, the cervix, everything. So when you are working in a place of holistic healing you have to recognize nothing is separate from anything else. So when you get to a place where you're empowering yourself as woman, you also want to get into a place where you are empowering your yoni and recognizing the energy that exists there. Many times we have a lot of dormant energy there. Women hold so much energy in our womb space, when we are angry or upset or wombs contract and get tight. Many women hold trauma there for so many years without even realizing it. I try to teach women to clear out the womb space much like you would clear out your home.
