Shevvy Malibu: I read another comment on your website about sisterhood being a healing elixir. Bossy is all about sisterhood and women supporting each other. Why do you think sisterhood is so important to women and why do you think some women reject the idea?

NuRa: I think sisterhood is important because we reflect each other. and we learn from each other.I think all relationships have that. But sisterhood brings a different dynamic first and foremost because it does not include the “confusion of sexual experience” and brings a another dynamic and type of love, We have these different types of loves. love with our blood family and love with our men and love with our children and then there’s this whole different type of love we create with our sister circle. And that space we able to be so much more who we are. In the past few years I have been able to be in a collective of women who have been assisting each other to grow abundantly and that has really helped to shape the way I see humanity. I think women who fight sisterhood or are not comfortable with sisterhood are just not comfortable with who they are.
