Shevvy Malibu: That makes perfect sense actually, it seems so simple really. So what led you to this line of work, what made you want to be a coach?

NuRa: I was actually just in a very independent moment where I was feeling like I'm not going to work for anyone anymore. I was moving back to Barbados at the end of 2010. And I said I'm not going to work for anybody and someone asked me well what do you want to do and I was like I give great advice and they asked well how does one get paid doing that. And of course I was I don’t know but I’m gonna do it. So I chose to go ahead and invest in a coach and the coach I chose at that time was Jamilla Manigault who was the founder of the Coochie Church and also the author of “Have you ever had an Orgasm?” So she was very much in alignment with what I am in alignment with. Which is finding a way to use your sensuality to assist you in your spiritual growth. I invested in coaching to get a better idea of what someone should be receiving from a coach, you know? And there are times when I’m with a client and I’ll open my mouth and this energy will just come through me and I will be like I don’t know what the hell I just told them, but I know it’s what they needed to hear by the way they received it. And so I noticed that I was being used as a vessel and I had a purpose in that space. And that's how the movement was born.
