Bossy! Magazine hosted it’s first Emerging Designer Showcase this March at the Beauty and the Beats Fashion Brunch. Featured in this inaugural showcase was designer David Smith.
Born in Chicago, David has always been obsessed with fashion. At the age of fourteen he decided he wanted to be a designer and now studies at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Smith says he finds inspiration in the everyday and says.... “Wherever something can be appealing to the eye there is inspiration to be found.”
His newest line, The Monroe Collection, is designed for "the woman who wants to break the barriers of fashion and try something no one has ever tried before. A daring woman. I want women to feel confident of course. I want them to feel like they can take on the world"
