taking sex off the table

I have had sex at least once, every two weeks since I was 25 years old. One eight-year relationship and one five-year relationship took up a lot of that time on the road to 40.

When I look back on my life, sex has always been there. From, talking about it in middle school, thinking about it in High School, doing it a lot in college, to trying to perfect it in my adulthood, sex has been a major cast member in the Life of Fee (AKA FELICIA). But what would life be without it? What if we removed sex? What if we removed sex from the dating equation together? What if we went celibate Fee?

So after a very interesting chat on the Reality and Relationships show, I decided to do just that. Take sex off the table. As soon as I took sex off the table, this is what I found out, men were not that hungry anymore.

Before I made my celibacy known I had a potential dating pool of 7 men. When I let the fellas know that sex would not be a consideration at this time, that pool dropped to one. One, people. One. I am not going to lie, I quickly wanted to put it in reverse and change my mind. Did I just doom myself to empty weekends and lonely nights?
