6. BOSSY- Okay the mystery is finally solved! So how did you get into that line of work?

MH: By being awesome and being dope and working from the bottom. Seriously, I actually have years of experience in from different jobs I’ve had. I did program management at RJ Reynolds, the tobacco company. I worked with retailers, clubs restaurants you name it, all in a marketing capacity. I have a background in the music business, I worked with copyrights, contracts, mechanical royalties, performance licenses. My background in business is really broad.

7. BOSSY- Okay dope! Having said that, what’s the best thing about what you do?

MH: The best thing about what I do is being able to give this wealth of knowledge that I have to people who look like me, act like me and talk like me.

8. BOSSY- Hardest thing about what you do?

MH: I guess having the patience for the people I do it for. Sometimes people will come to you with an idea and you can hold their hand and plan everything out that they need to do and they just need to execute and they don’t.

9. BOSSY- That’s got to be frustrating. So what does a person need to have before stepping to you for your services?

MH: They should have some assets if they have something already going. Positive energy and the willingness to be coached are the main things, and they need to be open to change.
