Mitzie: Each outfit showcased in the fashion show costs under $20. I wanted to show different looks, especially with the season changing, I was able to give a variety of summer and fall looks. So the banger to feeling good about your outfit is buying it for under $20.

BOSSY!: How difficult was it to create fashionable on trend looks exclusively from thrift shops?

Mitzie: Not difficult at all! Vintage is trending right now. This makes it very easy to find fierce items at the thrift store. The 1980's tweed blazer with shoulder pads is what's hot right now, not to mention it can be yours for only $6.00!!!!!! Can't beat that!

BOSSY!: Many women see blogs and instagrams of all these fabulously styled thrifted items, but are lost on how to begin. What tips can you give to the beginner thrift shopper?

Mitzie: When I first started thrifting it was overwhelming. The store was huge with so many rows of clothing. So first you have to go there with patience, I will admit sometimes it can take awhile before you find something you really like. I would suggest starting at the blazers/jackets first, to me it's easier to find a statement jacket/blazer than a shirt or pants. Once I find a blazer I really like, depending on the color scheme I would look for the bottom next, things start to get a little easier now because you are focused on blending with the jacket. Not to mention, if you don't find a bottom item you probably have something at home to go with it. The idea is to find that one item that speaks to you. You don't have to get a whole outfit in one day. You must have patience and MitzDStylez in your corner.
