Spirituality is a whole different kind of faith without religion. It’s the inner knowing and inner voice actually being listened to. This has so many different layers, but let’s stick to the wellness portion. This is where you listen to your body and find a way to be mindful and present in your day-to-day life. It is easy to lose sight of ourselves when we are working, filled with chores, and caretaking. It’s a space to take your power back and be accountable for feeling empowered in a society that encourages powerlessness.
Some examples of spiritual wellness can be meditation, joyful movement of the body, and creating an altar not only for ancestors but by creating intentions that you would like to come to reality a.k.a. manifest. You can use the magic of the moon or bask in the sun.
It’s a coming back to basics just as our ancestors have and being fully in the moment. Using what nature gives us and all the energies around us. Don’t you notice that the best things about vacation are that you’re actually fully in the moment. Usually you are getting more sun and more movement in the body and worrying less. How do you add that in your day when you’re not away. How do you find peace when everything is tumultuous?
