Step 7: If you have kids and you don't want to have a revolt in your house when they can't find a snack, try buying snacks you do not like. I do this and it works! I also choose snacks for my kids that are made with whole grains (shhh don't tell them) and try to offer sherbet/sorbet instead of ice cream. My kids eat the same meals as I do but snacks are definitely an area I allow for some wiggle room. I suggest having a balance of options including many healthy ones such as yogurt, cheese sticks, grapes, and Kind bars.

Following these 7 steps will set you up for success as well as give you many healthy options to chose from. You will find that this will make staying focused on your goals and sticking to your plan a lot easier. You can do it!
