BOSSNews Magazine Winter 2014 | Page 11

Hello Fellow Over-Achiever,

Here we are... our winter issue. What a roller coaster it has been. So many things have taken place since our fall issue. In our effort to support local events, which you will read about in our "While We Were Out Section," and I had the honor of speaking to seven other exquisite women around the area in order to learn from them and hear their stories.

businesses we covered several events around town. I had the honor of speaking to seven exquisite women from around the area in our BOSS Spotlight.

I considered it a privilege to sit and learn from their individual stories.

Of course there no growth

without pruning and purging. Personally I had to adapt and adopt new habits to help become more productive, a better leader, and a more frequent achiever of goals.

more productive, a better leader, and a more frequent achiever of goals. I also learned a great deal about life and how others treat you when you dare to dream

you when you dare to dream. The biggest most life-changing lesson however happened literally days ago. It's when I realized that BOSSNews was MY dream and even though some may have the best intentions, at the end of the day no one cares about the success of BOSSNews more than I do. And more importantly that success will be in direct correlation to my efforts and actions not that of someone else's. And that is the way it should be. As much as I love

love to depend on people. I know now, it's time to depend on God. Lesson to learned. I am thankful I

got it early in the game.

in the game.

The same thing goes for you BOSS. Whatever your dream is... It's YOURS. At the end of the day it really is up to you. You have to be in the game and in the stands cheering yourself on. Those partnerships you make, the employees you hire, the location of your office, the whole sha-bang is all a reflection of you and your efforts. Remember at the end of the day those are just the pieces, and it is up to you to put the puzzle together.

I wish you nothing but the best and hope this issue is even better than the last. We heard your feedback.

We've included a lot more helpful articles in hopes that our publication and our website publication and our website truly becomes that hub for your personal and professional development.
