BNA: What is your definition of a BOSS?
Roxy: A BOSS is someone who wakes up every morning with purpose. A woman who is able to take nothing and turn it into something. A BOSS is wise enough to know nothing happens overnight but crazy enough to get started anyway.
BNA: If you had 30 seconds to speak to every girl in America what would you tell them?
Roxy: I would tell them, it all starts with you. Before anyone else will or should believe in you, you have to believe in yourself. Also, do what moves you. Follow your passions not a dollar sign. And be willing to put in the work.
BNA: So what sets your brands apart from the rest?
Roxy: Well as a Realtor I focus on relocating individuals and families who move to the area for work. Typically they are employees of big corporations and brands. Because of that I have to offer stellar service. Foxxie Boutique is “The home of the Fashionista.” A girl can expect to find classy high fashion pieces in my store. I only order a small number of each piece so she can be sure to stand out from the crowd. Rada is my new baby. The denim line was designed for curvy girls who want a couture waist line without having to wear a belt all the time. Also, (my favorite part) my patent pending design actually lifts the butt 5cm creating a plumper fuller backside.
BNA: What can we expect to see from Rada in the near future?
Roxy: Rada is going on the road! We plan to do a quad-city trade show tour beginning in January. We are also looking to connect with buyers who want Rada in their stores so we plan to launch a huge campaign for that very soon.
BNA: Any last thoughts?
Roxy: I want to encourage every women reading this article. I want to ask her not to give up on her dream. It’s easy to do what others want you to do. Or to go back to what’s familiar. But I hope you would choose to stay true to yourself. If you wish to start a business of any kind, realize that there is help out there financially, planning, marketing, whatever you need. You just have to be willing to look. I have been at this for 15 years and I am just starting to see the results I wanted. And that’s OK because I didn’t give up. And I hope you won’t either.
