Bosch Capital
celebrates
5 Years
in business A valuation and sale of the Bahrain Sugar Refinery
January 2014 saw the establishment
of Bosch Capital as an operating
company within the Bosch Holdings
group in Durban to provide corporate
and project finance advisory, capital
raising and investment solutions across
the public and private sectors. The
company has since grown and boasts
teams in Durban and Johannesburg,
having turned five at the end of 2018. The refinery is a state of the art facility, based on proven
technology, with port access. Construction started in
2010 and commissioning of the 1 800 tonnes sugar
per day plant was achieved towards the end of 2013.
Sugar production increased in each of the next three
years, as commissioning problems were solved and
improvements made, until its closure in 2016, owing to
exceptional financial pressures.
Booker Tate Ltd in conjunction with Hickman Shearer,
a UK firm of industrial valuers, were appointed by
the main creditors of the Arabian Sugar Company, to
undertake the valuation and sale of the Bahrain sugar
refinery in Hidd in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Improved sanitation services for the Malukazi Community
Bosch Projects has recently completed a R32-million bulk sewer
infrastructure project, south of Durban, for the eThekwini Water and
Sanitation Division.
The Scheme included the construction of bulk
sewer gravity mains, a sewer pumpstation, sewer
rising main and 20 communal ablution facilities,
with associated water and sewer reticulation,
connecting into the adjacent Lower Malukazi
