Former MD Max Stemele hands over the reigns to his new MD, Danai Magugumela, who plans to build on his legacy and the Bosch Way
New MD heralds exciting era
for Bosch Stemele
Bosch Stemele, recently appointed Danai Magugumela as its
new managing director, following the impending retirement
of former managing director Max Stemele.
In addition to her many qualifications, Danai has an exceptional
track record in the industry spanning nearly 20 years. She holds
a MSc in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in the
US, is a registered professional engineer, is also a fellow of the
Academy of Engineering and serves on the Board and Built
Environment Advisory Committee at the University of Pretoria.
Stemele believes Danai is the perfect candidate to lead the
company to successfully achieve its goals. “I am confident
that Danai and her team will continue to build on the legacy
of the “Bosch Way,” while progressing Bosch Stemele’s
empowerment and Transformation initiatives,” said Stemele.
Danai’s long-term goal for Bosch Stemele is to move the
company to first in its class amongst South African owned
firms. Excited about meeting her new colleagues, she says,
“Bosch Stemele has a high percentage of youthful employees,
which is energising because the organisation will be challenged
to be dynamic and competitive.”
