Words from the Chairman’s desk
There are a number of drivers which are
key to the sustainability and success of our
business. These include cash flow, efficiency,
resources, innovation, technical excellence,
Transformation and ultimately profitability.
These drivers remain high on our agenda and
receive constant attention. One additional
element of our business which is particularly
relevant to our success is “Teamwork”.
All aspects of our business rely significantly
on people working well together in teams.
This applies internally with our own staff and
collectively with our Clients and business
partners. Some of our biggest success stories
have been the result of collective team efforts
where there is an alignment of drivers and a
common goal. There are a number of aspects of
the Bosch culture which reinforce this principle
such as integrity, trust, respect and delivery.

if you want to go far, go together”. We will
continue to strive to reach not only our own
goals, but also to support our Clients in reaching
theirs and we believe that we will only achieve
this if we work together as a team.
The construction sector remains a challenging
environment, yet despite this, the Bosch group

Bosch Projects was recently
adjudged the winner
amongst nine finalists at
the CESA AON Annual
Engineering Excellence
Awards function in the
Category of projects

will provide renewable energy to BMW’s motor assembly
plant in Rosslyn via a “power wheeling” arrangement.
The awards, which were held at Vodacom World in Midrand,
Johannesburg at a gala function, are a platform to showcase
the role that consulting engineering plays in developing
infrastructure whilst contributing towards sustainable
development. It focuses on consulting engineers who
participate in projects that promote the advancement of
South Africa and the people of the continent.
This accolade is a wonderful achievement and is a testament
to the dedicated hard work and contribution of everyone
who participated in the project from conception through to
implementation.
