In 2015, Bosch Projects was appointed
as one of four Design Consultants
for the design and construction
supervision of water and sanitation
infrastructure to human settlements
within the eThekwini Municipality, for
the third phase of this accelerated
service delivery project.
Having been involved in the previous
phases of the project, Bosch Projects
was instrumental in the installation of
over 200 communal ablution facilities
across eThekwini. This contributed to
the water and sanitation mandate to
provide basic water and sanitation
services to over 300 informal settle-
ments, serving more than one million
people across the city. In addition to the
ablutions servicing the immediate needs
of the community, the sewer and water
infrastructure will service future formal
housing projects, as an improvement to
informal settlements.
