GENERAL AUCTION RULES
Upon entering the event, guests will be given a paddle number at check-in. All items
are sold “as is” and are not exchangeable. Some items may have restrictions on dates,
availability or size. Value associated with the items has been provided by the donor(s).
All bids are binding once they have been made. All sales are final. There are no
exchanges or refunds on any item.
When the silent auction closes, you will receive a paid receipt via email and text
message to your cell phone listing all items purchased. At check-out, present your
receipt to a volunteer and a runner will bring you your items. Volunteers will be
available to help guests take items to their car. All items must be removed before the
end of the event.

Ensure you are registered with 501 Auctions and receive your WELCOME TEXT. Didn’t
register or didn’t receive your welcome text? Find a GiveSmart professional in black.
2 . Bid via cellphone – tap the link in your welcome text, then view, browse and bid on the
items. Can’t find your welcome text? Find a GiveSmart professional in black.
3 . Bid via text message – simply reply to your welcome text with the item number, space
and an amount (example: text 101 275 to bid $275 on item 101). Having trouble
bidding? Find a GiveSmart professional in black.
LIVE AUCTION RULES
All rules in the General Auction Rules also apply for the Live Auction. All descriptions
and restrictions for the Live Auction are listed in the program on the Live Auction insert
as well as on the GiveSmart website.
To place a bid, raise your bid paddle to be recognized by the auctioneer or spotters.
The bidder understands that all merchandise is sold “as is.” Easterseals North Texas,
CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company, and our supporters make no warranties, express or
implied, nor representation in connection with sales. In particular, the implied warranty
of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for use for a particular purpose
are expressly excluded from the sale.
