Vietnam Veterans
donate to K-9 unit
The Coshocton County Vietnam Veterans group
made a $500 donation to the Coshocton County
Sheriff’s Office K-9 program at their May 13 meet-
ing. The Vietnam Veterans enjoyed breakfast at
their new meeting location, the American Legion
Post 65, and then watched a demo nstration by
Detective Dave Stone and his K-9 partner Henata.
They also got to meet the office’s new K-9 Chili and
his partner Deputy Steven Mox. “We were getting
word that they were getting a new dog and as a
group we are here to help the community,” said
Dale Foster, president of the local Vietnam Vet-
erans group. “The K-9s are very important to our
sheriff’s office.”
