order?
A. All Rooted Cuttings orders must be placed through the broker
network. Contact your favorite broker today for pricing and to place
your order.
Q. How advanced will my Rooted Cuttings plants be when I receive
them?
A. Depending on the crop, most plants ship out 4-6 weeks after stick.
Q. Besides getting great quality plants, what are some of
the benefits of bringing in Rooted Cutting plants from Lucas
Greenhouses?
A. Small order minimums allow you to have a more diverse selection
for your customers. Our extensive offerings allow you to stay
organized and save cost by purchasing from one dependable
source. We have an experienced growing staff available to help
give recommendations and answer questions.
Q. When should I have my Rooted Cutting orders in to my broker?
A. The earlier you can place your order, the better we can help
ensure the availability of what you want, when you want it. We
suggest that Spring Rooted Cutting orders reach us by early October
and Rooted Cutting Poinsettia orders by late February to guarantee
availability. Please also consider that your broker will need time to
process the order before sending it to us as well. Check with your
broker for more specific ordering dates. We do accept late orders
subject to availability.
Q. How do I find out what varieties you offer?
A. Your broker will have a complete listing of available varieties &
sizes in our Rooted Cutting Programs. You can also obtain a copy of
our variety listings on our website www.lucasgreenhouses.com.
Q. How will my order ship?
A. The Lucas Greenhouse shipping team works hard to
accommodate your delivery requests and needs. With our ever
growing fleet of tractor trailers and straight trucks, we are ready
to deliver what you need, when you need it. To make for a fast
and efficient delivery, all our trucks are equipped with lift gates
and all your plants are shipped on our convenient to unload carts.
Our young plants can be delivered by grower truck, Fedex (also
can go air in the case of poinsettias), or can be picked up at our
greenhouse. Over 80% of our young plants ship to your door on
temperature controlled trucks. Please, check with your broker for
freight rates & minimums.
Q. Can I schedule my order to be a Customer Pick Up?
A. With our 20 bay loading dock and fully staffed shipping
department, we are prepared to quickly handle vehicles of all sizes. If
you would like to schedule your order to be a CPU, just indicate that
to your broker.
