Z Generation In Digital Classrooms
Z Generation In Digital Classrooms is a project of the Erasmus Program+ Strategic Partner
ships only Schools 2017-1-TR01-219-045663_4, structured in 2 years (2017/2019), with the
specific purpose of promoting the acquisition of crucial skills and competences in a
digital age, in the knowledge that traditional teaching methods are insufficient to attract
students.
Generation born after 2000 is called “Z generation” or “Digital Generation”. This generation
is considered to be different from past generations since they were born and raised in a
digital age - internet technologies and digital equipment's are a part of daily life. As
teachers of 21st century address to children of technology, we have to keep up with the
global education reform.
It is a must to use new generation teaching and training methods and equipping their
environment with technological devices. We believe that usage of smart devices/tablets and
web 2.0 tools for teaching is an effective way of keeping up with constantly developing
technology and Z Generation.
