TheprojectVolunteering4Strategicdevelopmenttook tookplaceinBlagoevgrad , BulgariabetweenSeptember 2018andMarch2020involving58volunteersfrom diferentcountries . Withinthis58volunteerswehosted8 longterm volunteers-doingtheirservicefor9monthsand other50 volunteersforshortterm volunteering with durationof58days . Ourfulfiledgoalsare : -created anefectiveandsustainablemodelforengagingyoungpeopleandofered arangeofservicesandinformation -Tookfewstepsforwardinchangingtheculturalmodel-engagingmoreyoung peoplewithusefulextra-curicularactivities , promotingreading , civicactivismand volunteering -Encouraged culturalawarenesamongyoungpeople -Engagedyoungpeopleincivicactivities -Tookfew stepsforwardinchangingatitudestowardsvolunteerworkand perceivingitasavalue -IncreasedthenumberofyoungpeopleparticipatinginErasmus + mobility -Providedaccestoqualityservicestosupportthefulpersonaldevelopmentof youngpeopleinaccordancewiththeirneedsandinterests Themainroleoflong-term volunteerswastoasisttheorganizationinorganizing trainingactivitiesrelatedtopersonalandcareerdevelopmentandyouthorientation , interestclubs , youthfestivalsandevents , supportingvolunteerclubsinlocalschools andorganizingvolunteerinitiativesandcampaignsatlocallevel . Inthisactivitywe ’ veincludedpresentationsandpublic activities , online campaigns , volunteerblogging , online youth magazine for opportunities for young people ' s development , as welas an EVS Youth caravan-nationalwidecampaignfororganizingeventstopromote thevalueof volunteeringandpresentingEVS .
