Caryn meets Andrew when they literally run into one another. The attraction is immediate, and mutual. Until he finds out about her dislike of athletes and that she is young & still in school.
Andrew wants no more of the party days that are behind him. Caryn represents the future and all he could have, if they can just find that common ground that seems so elusive. Can he show her they have a shot?
I really enjoyed this book. I found the characters and plot interesting and at a good pace. So glad there is more to this series, since this is a great start to another hockey series to sit on my shelf for a reread.
Long Drive is a great read! I absolutely loved it. Right now it is definitely one of my top favorite reads. I was instantly drawn to Killian and Livia ' s story.
Killian is a truck driver. He ' s not a people person and doesn ' t like to talk much. He ' s haunted by his past. He doesn ' t let many people in.
Livia needs a break from life. Their paths cross when Livia offers Killian money to let her travel for a month with him on his truck. I kinda thought Livia was crazy at first but she ' s really just looking for herself.
Killian is super quiet and in attempt to get Killian talking they play twenty-one questions. My favorite question is " What is your theme song?". I loved that and it made me think how would I answer that question. There is a lot of sexual tension between the two and they slowly they both start to open up. They are traveling around in a truck so they visit different place and are not in the same place throughout the book. Their constant moving definitely help me stay hooked on the story. There were a few twists that I didn ' t except.
