A new year signals new beginnings – often in the form of resolutions. But how often do we make a resolution to live a healthy lifestyle, but fall back into our old, unhealthy habits after a few weeks. Leading a healthier lifestyle boils down to four key factors: eating well, getting enough rest, exercising and keeping stress at bay. Feed your body

Eating five or more servings of fruit and vegetables a day and less saturated fat can help improve your health and may reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases. Eat a balanced diet and watch your portion sizes. scheduling quality time with your family and friends, and activities that help you recharge. If a date night with your partner or a braai with friends is on your calendar, you’ ll have something to look forward to and an extra incentive to manage your time well so you don’ t have to cancel.
