WISCONSIN COUPLE CANNOT TURN DOWN A TURN-KEY

PAT AND EDIE White were on a flight from their Milwaukeearea home to visit family in Florida when Pat discussed future plans for moving toward buying a second home . “ I laid out what I thought would be our five-year plan ,” Pat recalls . “ But once we set foot in Bonita Bay , that five-year plan turned into five days .” After Pat ’ s brother-in-law showed them around the community , Edie fell in love with the homes , its natural beauty , and all of the amenities . One of the houses , listed by Angela Lutzi Dellatorè and Scott Dellatorè , was available in the Cracker Cove neighborhood . “ So , I contacted them to take a look ,” Pat says . “ Unfortunately , we were only able to look at it from the outside , as the renters had taken the keys .”
It wasn ’ t long before Angela reached out to the Whites to tell them that another house was coming on the market . “ My longtime friend , Dan Walsh , happened to be visiting , so I asked Angela if I could bring him along to look at the houses ,” Pat says . “ She welcomed him .” They first looked at the original home that had been previously locked up . “ It was too small for our needs , but Dan loved it ,” Pat exclaims . “ Then Angela showed us the newer listing , which was perfect . Because we didn ’ t want to worry about furnishing the house , I asked Angela for suggestions . She told me it came completely furnished . Then I asked about the silverware , dishes , etc . At first , she didn ’ t think this was included . She later came back to reveal that the house was completely turn-key . I had a hard time hiding my enthusiasm .”
The Whites closed escrow in March of this year on a fivebedroom / three-bath house in Cracker Cove , a charming collection of Olde Florida-style homes situated in the center of the community . The properties have access to a community pool centrally located amongst the 38 homes in the neighborhood . “ We wanted something a bit larger because we have two kids , and eventually grandkids , we ’ d like to come and visit ,” says Pat .
