LEAVING LAS VEGAS FOR BONITA BAY

WITH DAVE AND ANN STRUVE
DAVE AND ANN Struve spent 24 happy years living in Las Vegas . Ann was a dental hygienist and Dave was president of sales and marketing for a major corporation . When it came time to retire , the couple decided they wanted to move closer to their grown children and four grandchildren . For their summer home , they decided upon Wisconsin , but for their winter home , they wanted to move to Florida . “ My parents had a home in Naples for 30 years ,” says Ann . “ We knew we loved southwest Florida but had no idea where to go .” That ’ s when they reached out to Angela Lutzi Dellatorè and Scott Dellatorè . “ We found them by their amazing reviews on Zillow ,” Dave says .
After explaining to the realtors what they were looking for , Angela and Scott suggested they look in Bonita Bay . " We drove around Bonita Bay and immediately realized this is where we want to be ," Ann recalls . “ Like we ’ ve heard from so many people , from the moment we arrived , we loved the feel and natural beauty of the place . Angela and Scott found us a home in Coconut Isle two days later .” Adds Dave , “ We were immediately attracted to the curb appeal . For us , no other neighborhood had that kind of aesthetic beauty .”
Coconut Isle is an exclusive neighborhood of 18 luxury detached villa homes within the greater Bonita Bay development . The subdivision includes Mediterranean-style homes ranging from 2,900 square feet to upwards of 4,600 square feet . The Bay Island Golf Course surrounds the community . Within walking distance are two lakes and Estero Bay Park . There are also several other private community parks in the area as well as access to private golf courses and tennis facilities .
The couple moved into their 3,000-square-foot , 3-bedroom / 3-bath villa about a year ago . Their home includes a pool . “ We loved the fact that the HOA takes care of all the maintenance and upkeep ,” says Dave .
