Mark Lindsay-NEW THING
Mark is a darker version of Lou Reed . A 1960s buff ’ s like myself know him as the former vocalist of Paul Revere and The Raiders . A bit of trivia , that band guested on an episode of Batman . How cool is that ? It is awesome to hear Mark ’ s new stuff .
Nick Marr- TELL ME WHY
Nick Marr could have been a member of The Cult during the Electric days . His youth gives him a trendy edge yet he sings with a maturity . This songwriter also records his material ; this young man is going places .
Susan Surftone UP DOWN AND ALL AROUND
This is the second track by Susan Surftone . Produced by Gar Francis , this song has a strong 1960s Yardbirds , Paul Revere and the Raiders sound . Backing vocals are handled by Mia Moravis . This is a tightly produced number and a terrific song .
Spyder Darling- NEW YORK WALKABOUT
New York City is in the house with Spyder Darling . A rocking song with a strong punk influence , “ Walkabout ” is a bit Lou Reed and a bit Iggy Pop and a lot of attitude . Spyder is no stranger to the rock scene , playing well known venues on both coasts- L ’ Amour , the Whiskey a Go Go , Gazzari ’ s , CBGB ’ s to name a few . Spyder Darling is an example of once rock and roll is in your blood , it is here to stay .
