It looks like Brazil is not ready for the World Cup yet. There are so many problems right now in Brazil. First of all, the crime is so serious that football fans and even players have to watch out for their life during the period of the World Cup. In 2012, there is a record of UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) which shows the murder rate of Brazil is 25.2 people per 10,000 people. This record is actually one of the highest crime rate in the world. And the infrastructure of the traffic is so weak that it is easy to be exposed by crime. Secondly, many stadiums are actually constructed in short times, so there are some problems such as leaks on the roof and some stadiums are not constructed perfectly yet. The case of stadium in Cuiaba, Brazil is still constructing even the World Cup is going to open after one month. So there is some security problems of stadiums. Another one of the big problem is hygiene for players. Hygiene officials of Brazil found 8 of 13 hotels and restaurants are violated hygiene rules and the hotel of the italy national team is found that shelf life of foods are actually passed.
