One of the busiest and well known tourist attractions in the San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf is best known for being the location of Pier 39. A lot of famous seafood restaurants and museums are located in here. Amazingly, There are groups of a sea lion next to Pier 39. The sea lions lie on wooden docks that were originally meant for docking boats. You can feel freshness and smell of the ocean if you walk along the Fisherman's Wharf.

Fisherman's Wharf plays host to many events of San Francisco, including a world-class fireworks display for Fourth of July, and some of the best views of the Fleet Week air shows. So if you come here this time, you can enjoy these kind of show. And this is not end. There is a popular jail called "Alcatraz" in here. It was known as prison of hell to the prisoners. Because near this jail, there is a fast current, so prisoners who tried to escape were swept by a strong current. It was a jail decades ago, but it is a famous tourist attraction now. Another reason which this place is famous is that the movie 'The Rock' was filmed in here.
