The Bombers magical season continues as they have clinched their first home playoff game since 2009. When they line up this week they will see many familiar faces such as former Bombers, Amari Cooper and Jordan Howard. The Bombers also will be facing their old Husky Division rivals All Natural-Big Action who also spoiled the Bombers playoff hopes back in 2009.
The Bombers clinched the #2 seed to punch their ticket to the dance while the Big Action had a very improbable path to the playoffs, leapfrogging over 3 other teams in a dramatic regular season finale. During media day on Monday, Coach Morizio seemed almost shocked as he was discussing their unexpected playoff berth. "We have been building something here for most of the season and had an eye towards next year so this just speeds up our goals of getting back to the QBowl," Coach Morizio said.
