Based off of Helen Keller's life, the film focuses on a blind and deaf girl, and her ties with her teacher who later contracts Alzheimer's disease. Superb acting led this film to have a screening at the Casablanca Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India. Europe's TIME magazine ranks the film as one of the 10 Best Movies of the year around the world.
