Bolivia’ s traditional breakfast is a continental-style breakfast. This breakfast is served with bread, jam, butter, tea or coffee joined with an“ Americano” style egg that can be fried or scrambled.
For lunch in Bolivia, this is the main meal of the day. Lunch usually consists of a main dish and soup. Potatoes are usually apart of the main dish. Sometimes served with rice or noodles as well.
Dinner in Bolivia is a lighter meal. Dinner is an informal affair unlike lunch. Dinner usually takes place later than 8pm and is not like the typical American dinner.

Changa de pollo o de conejo- Soup make with chicken or cuy( guinea pig), potato, peas, avas and green onion.
alteña: A breakfast food, salteñas are small pastries full of meat and vegetables, such as potatoes, peas and carrots. Sometimes they’ re sweetened.
