Letter from the Editor
So many people think that giving back to people is all about money, but for me personally
it really has very little to do with money. Yes, we all need money to survive, but we don't
always need money to make a difference. Giving back can be as simple as giving a hug to
someone that looks lonely, or a smile to brighten a person's day. This is one of the many
reasons why I started BoldlyU and the BoldlyUs Committees. Just by telling our experi-
ences and stories, we can make a huge difference in people's
lives. Sometimes we get lost in this broken world and
think that difficult things only happen to us, but in
all reality, they happen to everyone. Some things
might not seem as bad as what we are going
through, but I can guarantee that by sharing
your story you can help someone going
through something very similar. By
being a part of a BoldlyUs Comm-
ittee, you can make sure your voice
is heard, and you can start making
a difference in people's lives by
giving back. Our committees
have every different kind of
kid involved, and that is
what we love! To get to
the real heart of what is
going on in our world
today nobody has a
bigger, brighter, more
powerful thought pro-
cess than our tweens.
I know, I know, as par-
ents we have trouble see-
ing that but if you really dig
into their lives and truly listen
to their stories I will guarantee
you that you will be just as ama-
zed as I was. That is why BoldlyU
and our BoldlyUs Committee's are
giving back something much grea-
ter than money; they are giving
help and awareness to help other
kids to see that they are not alone
in this journey called life. If you
would like to know more about
a BoldlyUs committee in your
area or you would like to start
one, please email me at

ENJOY!
