FEATURED Coyote Hill SHOUTOUT A Safe Place to Be a Child... When kids need a safe place to live, Coyote Hill can be that place. Coyote Hill Christian Children’s Home provides a home for children in foster care or children whose family is going through a crisis for however long they need. Our homes are set up as family style. Each home has a Home Parent mom and dad to run the home and give each child stability and support. Coyote Hill is located in Harrisburg, just north of Columbia. In addition to the homes where everyone lives, we have a horse arena with 14 horses; a swimming/ fishing lake; trails to explore; and playgrounds at every home. We want kids to just be kids.  Often children will live at Coyote Hill for a year or two while working with their biological family to return home. Sometimes returning home is not what is best, and adoption becomes a possibility. Freddy, age 14 found his family through adoption while living at Coyote Hill.  Regardless of why a child or sibling group comes to live at Coyote Hill, our desire is to make sure everyone knows that they are worthy of love and care. Each child deserves to know that someone cares for them deeply and is willing to show grace when they make a mistake, and help them make good future decisions. Coyote Hill is a place for kids to find healing from their past, hope for their future, and happiness in their present. Kari H. 38 March 2017
