What is Asthma ?
A respiratory condition marked by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs , causing difficulty in breathing . It usually results from an allergic reaction or other forms of hypersensitivity .
At the age of three , I was diagnosed with Asthma . Kids with asthma , in this world , have had to go to the doctor more times than any kid would want to imagine . Most kids diagnosed with asthma have parents that usually don ’ t know what it is like unless the parents themselves have been smoking . Asthma is an active disease that is causing the lungs not to filter the air properly , causing the host to have trouble breathing , sometimes causing asthma attacks .
Most children have had this their whole life , and some lose it just by being active . Others have it for a lifetime , and it ’ s not something that makes people happy , it ' s just the reality . Anyone can still have a happy life , even " normal " some might call it , but it ’ s not that bad . I personally think that I have a good life even with asthma .
