During seventh grade , I started to find out more about myself . I noticed that I had an ambition for acting and dancing . Then , I realized I started becoming friends with people I had a lot of things in common with . Those people didn ' t care about looks , fitting in , or what people thought about them . They just worked toward their goals and did what they wanted to do , rather than what everyone else did . That ' s when I knew who I wanted to surround myself with . Now , as an eight grader , I have learned that beauty isn ' t about your looks . Beauty signifies your self-respect , self-love , self-confidence , and self esteem . I am proud to say that I am an overcomer .
