Sisaundra was one of eight children. Her sisters had a group in which she wanted to sing but she did not get the opportunity. However, at five years old, her father called her up to the platform and she performed her fist solo. This is where she got her start, at her father’s church in Lake Hamilton, Florida and she has been singing and performing ever since.
Sisaundra was invited to tour with Peabo Bryson as a backing vocalist and duet partner. She also toured with International musical sensation, Celine Dion as a backing vocalist, vocal director and choreographer. In fact, there was one point while Sisaundra was on The Voice that Celine called in offering support and words of wisdom.
Other artists she has worked with include: Janet Jackson, Patti LaBelle, Enrique Iglesias, Michael Bolton and more. She also has been a featured performer on Cirque du Soleil’s show La Nouba
neglected her upbringing. She regularly visits her hometown and finds ways to give back and help others along on their journey. Even though she is busy providing guidance to her three young people
As a single mother; busy as the Worship Leader at one of the largest churches in Orlando; busy traveling and working; busy performing and forming partnerships with the Orlando Ballet, she has found time for one more thing.
Along with Vernice Atkins-Bradley, Sisaundra recently started a mentorship program, for girls in the eighth grade and it is called, Find Your Voice.
There are over 100 girls in the program which is in partnership with Orange County Public Schools and Love Orlando.
and was featured on the DVD which was filmed live.
She narrated the Oscar nominated documentary Sustaining Life which deals with ways to end extreme poverty in the world. She has also done voice overs for numerous products, including: Sprite, Double Mint Gum, Arby’s, Dr. Pepper and others.
Sisaundra has been a much sought after performer throughout the nation and with her Quarterfinals finish on The Voice, she is even more in demand.
No matter the accolades and platforms that have come in season, Sisaundra has not
I have seen pictures of their events and as a parent my heart is glad that these young ladies have this opportunity to be mentored in this pivotal stage of their lives.
Apopka, Carver, Howard, Lee, Lockhart and Meadobrook Middle Schools, located in and around the Orlando area, have all signed on as participants.
