The State Government has recently approved all three of Council ’ s Building Our Regions funding applications . This will include $ 5 million to overhaul the Toowoomba Railway Goods Shed , a key component of the Railway Parklands Priority Development Area which Council must match , $ 4.9 million to establish a further principal infrastructure corridor to service the northern precinct of the Toowoomba Enterprise Hub at a total cost of $ 9.8 million , as well as a $ 9.6 million upgrade to Gap Road in Pittsworth ( Council will contribute $ 4.8 million ), to enable the road to carry multi-combination vehicles .

Please note that in courts and dead ends , waste trucks have to turn and reverse and the drivers cannot see all around them at the one time .
