Twilight Tours @ TRAG
Thursday 19 July @ 5.30pm
Join gallery and tour host, Sue Lostroh, Regional Coordinator of Art Galleries &
Cultural Services on an after-hours tour of the current exhibition. The exhibition
brings together works from the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery collections that
connect to the living culture of our First Nations. The stories come from shared
experiences and reflect the artists’ spiritual homes regardless of where each
individual is geographically located. Light refreshments will be served after the tour.
Twilight Tour events are free and people of all ages welcome. Please RSVP directly
to the gallery on (07) 4688 6652 or [email protected] by Tuesday 15 May.

Secret Lives by local artist Elizabeth Schmidt
Secret Lives by local artist Elizabeth Schmidt is a mixed media exhibition using eco-dyed
blankets, cotton, silk cloth and paper. Schmidt’s love of embroidery transfers to the
softly dyed textiles in the form of little creatures and flowers of the Australian bush. Ants,
spiders, dragonflies, bugs and flowers in various forms adorn the panels. The artist draws
inspiration from the colours of nature and the diverse Australian landscape. This is a free
event and all are welcome. RSVP directly to the gallery on (07) 4688 6652 or
[email protected] by Wednesday 27 June. Exhibition on display 30 June to 29 July.
This event forms part of the Cam Robertson Gallery exhibition program that showcases the work of artists,
curators and arts organisations in the Toowoomba Region.
