Schmidt’s love of embroidery transfers to the softly dyed textiles in the form of little creatures and flowers of the Australian bush. Ants, spiders, dragonflies, bugs and flowers in various forms adorn the panels. The artist draws inspiration from the colours of nature and the diverse Australian landscape. This is a free event and all are welcome. RSVP directly to the gallery on (07) 4688 6652 or [email protected] by Wednesday 27 June. Exhibition on display 30 June to 29 July. This event forms part of the Cam Robertson Gallery exhibition program that showcases the work of artists, curators and arts organisations in the Toowoomba Region.
