MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall. In 2010,
Hall and MSNBC launched NewsNation
covering anything from major international news to politics. She has been awarded
the Lew Klein Alumni in the Media award,
and advocated for domestic violence after
her sister was killed following a tragic event.
Tamron has a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Temple University where she majored in
Broadcast Journalism. (MSNBC, 2016)
Tamron shows several pictures, and new clips
showing the massacre. Samuel Okey- Mbonu gives his input during the video on how
Boko Haram, and is questioned on how the
Nigerian government will put an end to these
attacks and why zero progress has been made
defeating Boko Haram.
Motive
Logic
This story was reported on to provide information on the attacks in Baga. Tamron
is trying to spread the story and warn those
against Boko Haram and their intentions.
She is informing Americans, and keeping us
up to date on the attacks, and the devastation
going on in those cities.
The information was reported logically.
The Nigerian government has failed in its
attempts to stop Boko Haram. Okey- Mbonu believes that those of the aristocracy in
northern Nigeria can put an end to this violence with the strong Islamic fundamentalism
that lies within that area.
Left Out
What appears to be left out was the main
sources that were used to gain all of this
information. Clearly, because the death toll
was reported incorrectly as 2000 and was just
assumed.
