(US Department of State) This statement is true. “Boko Haram’s war against the people of Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon may not attract as much worldwide attention as the wars in the Middle East but the suffering is just as great and the human cost is equally high.” This is a relative statement and is true depending on circumstances. This war appears to have not gained as much attention worldwide as other terrorist groups. Although a lot depends on were the audience located in the world is and whether they are directly affected with it or not. So the statement can be true relative to the audience.
