THE TYPICAL TRANSITION FROM SPRING TO SUMMER
BROUGHT SOME COLD AND SOME WARM WITH A
LOT OF RAIN SPRINKLED IN. WE CONTINUE TO MOW
THE ROUGHS DAILY AS WEATHER ALLOWS. We’re also
raking the bunkers on a regular basis and greens are in great
shape! Fairways, tees, and collars were slow to wake up with
the extended cooler temperatures earlier in the month of May.
Annual flowers have been planted around the property and are
starting to produce color! Projects have resumed with #1 green
surround getting a new face lift. The golf course is once again in
top form and it’s great to see so many members enjoying
the Club!
Currently, carts are still allowed to drive in the roughs, but this
will change to fairways only soon. Keep an eye on our new
golf course communication sign located at #1 tee. Also, the
practice facility tee has changed from mats only to practicing
off of the turf. Please hit from within the ropes and stay within
your divided stall.
