This is an excellent question. What is the safest, healthiest way to bulk-up is perfectly worded! You are correct, there are many opinions on Bulking and many of them are not safe, healthy or effective. Consider that most physique athletes will put on 4-6 pounds of muscle or lean body tissues/year. Knowing that, does it make sense to go through a Bulking Phase where you put on 20-40 pounds or more that still equates out to 4-6 pounds of muscle!?!? No! Of course not! So why do people do it?
