Our environment Set on almost 100 hectares of undulating land and just 15 kilometres from the Perth CBD, Guildford Grammar School is ideally positioned to offer boarding students a smooth transition to life in the city. Boarders feel at home among the rural setting of our spacious campus. Our grounds on the banks of the Swan River offer plenty of green space and vast bushland expanses for students to explore, be creative and be active. Boarders can experience familiar outdoor activites and hobbies that naturally reflect their home environment such as bike riding, sport and fishing. Our enviable location and scale of land afford a sense of freedom and independence within the safe parameters of our school grounds. Students also enjoy all the benefits of city living, with easy access to both Perth city and Guildford village, providing students with plenty of opportunities to experience an array of recreational and educational activities. Boarders can visit the local shops and cafes in Guildford, explore the surrounding area and play sport locally. Senior boarders can travel into the city on weekends, visit the beach or attend sporting or music events. As well as the physical space, the boarding house provides a warm, inclusive and positive living environment for our students. It is a community rich in culture and a natural extension of the home. Many of our staff live on campus, creating a village atmosphere that celebrates family. We are colleagues, neighbours, friends and mentors who share a common purpose.
