I think I can bring a breath of fresh air, but at the same time bring that old school feel back to Atlanta. They’re hasn’t really been anyone besides the OGs of Atlanta to really represent from a point of view other than where the state of hip hop is in Atlanta now. I feel I can bring a lot of hope back to the city and passion to the south. An artist that Atlanta would be proud to stand behind and say he’s one of our own. I try not to limit myself to just rapping because your not giving yourself room to grow as an artist by just sticking to what you know and that’s it. So I’m always looking to add different things to my music. Whether that be learning to produce, engineer, or even sing, even though that’s not my lane [Laughs] ,and just trying different genres that may Interest me. Do you think the lyrical southside is making a comeback? “I think I can bring a breath of fresh air...” What is your main goal? To make DMF into a corporation! To be remembered as somebody that gave 100% in everything he ever did. Also to be one of the best artist to come out of Atlanta and the south in general. The way Andre influenced me was basically with his style and play on words. Mmm, it’s trying to. I know a few underground artist that are trying to breakthrough and make a name. Big Krit is putting on strong for the south also. But in order for it to get back to lyrics and substance, more than one artist from the south What is DMF? that are actually ON, have to DMF stands for the “Da contribute into changing things up.
