I think I can bring a breath of fresh
air, but at the same time bring that
old school feel back to Atlanta.
They’re hasn’t really been anyone
besides the OGs of Atlanta to really represent from a point of view
other than where the state of hip
hop is in Atlanta now. I feel I can
bring a lot of hope back to the city
and passion to the south. An
artist that Atlanta would be proud
to stand behind and say he’s one
of our own.
I try not to limit myself to just
rapping because your not giving
yourself room to grow as an artist
by just sticking to what you know
and that’s it. So I’m always looking to add different things to my
music. Whether that be learning to
produce, engineer, or even sing,
even though that’s not my lane
[Laughs] ,and just trying different
genres that may Interest me.
Do you think the lyrical southside is
making a comeback?
“I think I can bring a
breath of fresh air...”
What is your main goal?
To make DMF into a corporation!
To be remembered as somebody
that gave 100% in everything he
ever did. Also to be one of the
best artist to come out of Atlanta
and the south in general. The way
Andre influenced me was basically
with his style and play on words.
Mmm, it’s trying to. I know a
few underground artist that are
trying to breakthrough and
make a name. Big Krit is putting on strong for the south also.
But in order for it to get back
to lyrics and substance, more
than one artist from the south What is DMF?
that are actually ON, have to DMF stands for the “Da
contribute into changing things up. Mastermind Family”
it’s me and my teams brand and
soon to be my Independent
label that will eventually develop
into a corporation. The people
involved are long time friends
of mine since I was younger. My
manager/photographer Miguel.
The Creative Director and also
my Photographer and graphic
arts designer Solomon. My
assistant Xzavious. The networking directors Aaron and Josh.
