my love of flow and cadence. So when we eventually flunked college, and pondered on our next move, we came to a conclusion that we have something to say, and we have a gift of gab; lets run it! “I had an urge to listen to more music with meaning.” TRAILBLAZZOR MUZIK When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I was into Bone Thug’s N Harmony’s style. Me and Barz use to record ourselves on cassettes mimicking their cadence for hour and hours. So they got me into the technical side of hip hop. So from then on to college, we would rap as a hobby. But throughout hardships, fist fights, financial issues, awareness with world affairs, witnessing shootouts and almost being killed, alcoholism, weed, and ecstasy abuse, I had a urge to listen to more music with meaning. See I wasn’t into Nas, Pac, Biggie, Pun etc. I was bumpin’ crunk sh*t, bust a head type sh*t, sh*t that captured my rage. But eventually through hardships, I started listening to Joe Budden, Pac, and Boosie in college. That gave me the inspiration to bring some heart and honesty in my lyrics and combine it with I plan to be an example by making music exactly how I see fit, and that you can make money doing so. That you can be the leader of your situation, simply because I see many examples today. Instead of chasing platforms, you could be going after the people and be grass roots with it. That is why I am not really fond of many mainstream rappers accept for maybe Cole or Kendrick. Because I see it as a person that can be a dope emcee from a pure place while branding himself and making money independently is an art form in itself. So I want other young artists to see that. TrailBlazzor to me means that we blaze our own path due to the decisions we make. Whether we manifest a life experienced as a failure or a victor, we created that path, we blazed the trail. And that’s what most of my content is about, my decisions, right or wrong. But I aim to show people that you are ultimately in control of your reality for the most part. Its “Mind Ova Matter” Muzik.
