creativity and imagination through
my thoughts. So I won’t say hip
hop is the only thing I’m interested in but it is definitely the most
important.
I would describe my music as optimistic, I make music to give people hope. I want someone to come
to me and tell me how my lyrics
have touched them and motivated
them to pursue their dream. If I

I’ve always had a love for music for as long as I can remember, but I started rapping at
14 years old and I was pushed
by a good friend of mine who
passed away in 2011, Tim Aaron. I was inspired after hearing
“Karaoke” by T-Pain but the
album and artist that made

J. Cole because of his wordplay

of the first artists to raise the bar
higher than ever when it came to
being a master lyricist. And Big L
because of his flow, delivery, and
clever punch lines.
