When it comes to your song “ La $ t Day ”, what do you want your listeners to take away from it ?
MC Hammer was the first artist that made me want to shine , thanks to his wardrobe and dance moves , but Tupac was the catalyst that really got me interested in lyrics and evoking emotion with listeners . I never thought I ’ d become a rapper , but I did begin to craft poetry around 10 years old . Nothing ’ s changed . I just prefer to recite the lyrics over beats nowadays .
You ’ re heavily involved in both the group ‘ The Winner ’ s Circle ’ and Audible hustle Entertainment , when and how did these come about ?
Audible Hustle is my pride and joy . I created the record label late in 2010 , however didn ’ t get it officially licensed until 2013 . We initially all linked up while serving in the military , but also recruited non-military artists later . With the artist roster recently minimizing in depth , I ’ ve now began to focus on building with producers Dre Majer and Bryzone YBP , in addition to my DJ , DJ FyeMeUp . Audible Hustle is an exceptional brand but it ’ s moreso a way of life . I carry the torch for it on the daily .
The Winner ’ s Circle is a fairly new venture that myself and a few affiliates have embarked upon . The urban music market in Atlanta typically provides one common type of vibe , especially at indie concerts and showcases . We ’ ve taken it upon ourselves to create a platform that connect serious artists with hungry music fans , in a no pay-to-play format . Due to the success of said events , we ’ ve just started a tour throughout the dirty south under the same Winner ’ s Circle name as well so who knows what the brand will grow into . What ’ s for certain is that we ’ re having a ball introducing the city to the best talent around .

Your event “ Pumpin ’ Gumption ” is always successful , where do you see it in the next couple of years ?
Pumpin Gumption is undoubtedly one of Atlanta ’ s best indie concert platforms and we plan to keep it growing by continuing to curate great talents and keeping the vibe very fresh . We just had Chilly Chills headline our last event . There will only be bigger names to come . Remaining organic and doing it for the artists / music fans will keep our growth in perpetual motion . Bigger crowds . Bigger venues .

The tour really got it feeling like Christmas in July right now . We ’ re hitting Louisville , New Orleans , Macon , Birmingham , Athens , Nashville and a couple other spots . After our first out of town show in Tallahassee , earlier this year , new opportunities arose and some we chased down , but getting outside of Atlanta and reaching new audiences was a must for us . We need to expedite the growth quickly .
“ I ’ m gone get it by all means and that ’ s the mindset we should step out the door with everyday .”
When it comes to your song “ La $ t Day ”, what do you want your listeners to take away from it ?
If someone blatantly told you that today was your last day , how would you approach it ? Would you fold up or go hard as hell for your last 24 hrs ? I know for myself , I ’ m gone get it by all means and that ’ s the mindset we should step out the door with everyday . To get it like it ’ s our last day walking out , like it ’ s the last day we breathing .
