When did you know hip hop was for you? I heard Nas’s The Message and knew I wanted to make people feel the way I did when listening to that song every time they heard me. What has hip hop done for you? With the artist(s) and producer of your choice, who would you collab with to make the perfect track? I feel like Me, Anthony Hamilton, and the Justice League are a Grammy Waiting to happen. It’s  given me an outlet to tell my perspective on situations in an artistic manor to new people. What artist(s) have influenced your music? The artists who have influenced me the most are J.Cole, David Hollister, and King Chip. Whether it’s their stage presence when performing or their approach to music in general. Who are your biggest supporters? Honestly, my family is my biggest support, and strangers from overseas who met me through the blogsphere. What is a quote/phrase you go by “Where you’ve been does not determine where you will go in life. It only determines where you have to start”. Comin’ from Cali, what are your thoughts on the Atlanta Hip Hop scene? Coming from California, the Atlanta scene has taken some getting used to. It’s grown on me though. This is the best place to create and put together a project or campaign on a realistic budget. As well as the talent here is potent enough to see how much you really match up. What can we expect from your upcoming project “Neat”? What you can expect from Neat is quality rap and some timeless records that will survive the test of time. You had a blues/jazz influence on your last EP, can we expect more of that on “Neat”? There won’t be a jazz influence on Neat. We went sample heavy on the last Project and this time around we kept it a little more modern.
